Default David Henderson

I received a very sad notice from our EAA chapter690 president this morning on Dave Henderson's passing. I and all his friends will miss Dave immeasurably.
He was the one I wanted to make the 1st flight in Miss Sandy, my RV7.
He was a good friend, I'll miss you Dave,

I saw Dave at our monthly EAA 690 pancake breakfast yesterday morning and he was fine. He died before sunset of an apparent heart attack. He was a regular at our GOP ( grumpy old pilots) Tuesday lunches. He was a helicopter crew chief in Vietnan stationed where I was at the very same time although we did not know one another at the time. As Jerry said Dave will be greatly missed.

Remember life is short so work less and fly more!!!!

Dave was a prince of a guy. He encouraged me during my construction and been a mentor to many in our local EAA chapter. Dave was also a man of solid morals. He led by example. I still can't believe he is gone. God, I will miss him.

I'll certainly miss Dave. He was a fine human being and a heck of a nice guy.
