Default Electrial drawings

Rory Hatchett here from Aussie building a RV-7
Does anyone have a good recemondation for a electrical drawing / template program. It would need to be Mack computer based as that's what I use. Want to do my own drawings to make me understand wiring a lot beter, I could easiy just photo copy electrical drawings but that's not the direction I want to go.
Thanks

Lots of folks recommend ExpressSCH but that's Windows only. Fortunately, there's an alternative - check out JSchem which has flavors for both Mac and Linux. It will import ExpressSCH drawings.

Another alternative is to just run ExpressSCH in a VM such as Parallels.

Default Digikey

DigiKey has a free on line tool. Pretty basic but it works.

I'm doing that using OS X 10.6.8 and Parallels 6 and Windows XP and it runs fine.

Not that I've done much with it yet, since I'm still building the wings, but the program is up and available.
