Default Learning Aeros in my new RV-6

Some "straight off the bat" footage of Saturdays fun in the RV. Just 1 angle, no cuts and music added to cover the dreadful gopro engine sound. The RV is quite an adjustment after an S1-S Pitts, much more speed and change in altitude during figures. There's a 1200' loss down the backside of a half reverse cuban that I'd expect to be around 600' in a Pitts. Or 1300' height gain in a stall turn (hammerhead) that would be 700' in the Pitts.

I absolutely loved the cloud busting bit at the end - much more fun than in the Pitts due to the higher speeds and ability to climb / descend during manouvres

while i'm at it, here's my latest Pitts video for comparison - I'm already plotting similar RV based efforts.

Yes, very nicely done. You're obviously going to have a great time with the new airplane. Please keep those videos coming...

Along with RVs, I really love biplanes. I happen to like your videos a lot, and I think I've seen most of them. As a life-long Pitts fan, I happen to like "Dragon Lands" the best. I won't put a link here (I think that is what our forum rules are), but it is well worth searching out for a neat, ethereal blend of beautiful airplanes and landscapes.
