Default Tire question...

Looking for a 10" diamond tread tire. I know of some who actually use Michelin scooter tires with good results (so far).

What is a good source for this in an aviation tire?

Will Desser custom make a tire? There may be demand for as many as 100 to 300 of these tires?

Default Wilkerson Aircraft Tire

They have a big selection. Great Quality in my experience.

Yes. A friend I just flew with buys his P-51 tires from them. Will they make a tire to order?

For new design it requires tooling. It's unlikely 200 - 300 tires is sufficient to cover the cost. You will probably be asked to pay the NRE and tooling costs. Estimate 50k - 100k as reasonable. Probably another 50k for TSO.

Well, that answers the question.
