Default Cam lock options

RV-8 QB in the home stretch. (or at least that's what I keep telling myself)

So I built out the cowl attach as #10 screws over top and across bottom with hinges on the horizontal and vertical lower. Now I'm having 2nd thoughts about all those screws. No intention of changing out the scalloped flange. Fuse is painted. Looks like Skybolt and Milspec might be too big for my finished flange.

Question is are there other quality camlocks that don't require the real estate of SB or MS?

Default It looks like SB would fit.

I have SB's and taking the cowl on and off for the various fittings has been nice, but your current solution will fasten the cowl nice and tight. Remember the SB and CamLoc are spring loaded.

To your question - it actually looks like there is room for the SB's . There is a tab drawing on the SB website (somewhere) that I downloaded. It has all the dimensions you would need. If you don't find it send me an email.

Maybe a call would still get you the discount.
