Default Hartrzell Governor V-5-2 with IO-540????

I have a Hartzell Blended Airfoil prop on a Lycoming D4A5 and I want to use a Hartzell V-5-2 governor. Can anyone give me a piprep on this combination?
Hartzell says it should work if I have the max RPM increased to 2700, but I would like to hear from someone that has done it.

Thanks,

I can't comment. I have the S-1-32 on my RV-10.
