Default Mounting compass to T/U canopy

I have a nice compass that I would like to mount to my canopy instead of the dash. Has anyone done this successfully? Did you drill holes or were you able to find an adhesive that would hold?

I appreciate any guidance here.

Thanks,

Larry

Default Sorry, but does not sound like good idea --

If you mean mounting it to the plexi?, looking for more stress and potential cracking ---- my vertical card is mounted to the overhang --- no problem.
