Default TruTrak ADI II Question

I submitted the following issue to TruTrak, but don't expect a response until after OSH - so am posting to VAF to see if anyone has ideas/experience.

On start before alternator comes on line, autopilot goes through its initialization drill with the three-dash display showing. After start and airborne, none of the display indicators work - engaged lights and track display - even though all functions operate correctly. Just no lights to indicate what's engaged and where I'm going.

I don't have a dimming control system, but do have power connected to Pin 25 and master power to Pin 6. If it's a grounding problem, why to all the engage functions engage and operate properly?

AP has worked perfectly for 4+ years and 560 hrs. I feel it has to be something simple/obvious - perhaps an internal failure, but can't figure it out. Anyone have an opinion?

Default Call Them

TruTrak usually has on-site tech support available when they are at OSH.
