New TruTrak autopilot

Is there any reason for me NOT to rip out the single-axis DigiTrak -- the one I paid $1700 for years ago?

I am pretty sure this system only uses the trim tabs or trim bias to guide the airplane around. At least that is how I read it.

Not saying that is bad, just be aware of it as it does not appear to use their traditional stepper motor servos that we are all familiar with.

Double check with them to be sure I have not misinterpreted the announcements.
