Default Tip: Substitute for 5/8" long die on hand squeezer

Just thought I would share someting with those of you who wish they had a 5/8" long die on thier hand squeezer....

I was just out in the shop squeezing the reinforcing plates onto my rear spars... and my 1/2 anvil just 'touches' the flange of spar. Not wanting to damage the flange, I was wondering how I could extend the clearance, when the solution was staring at me from my parts bins...some of you probably have guessed by now...Use one or two AN960-10 washers set onto the mounting shaft of the die!!
Worked great..two made it kind of hard to squeeze, one provided enough clearance for the yoke.

Just thought I'd share that with those of you in the same spot right now

Have fun building....I am!

Chris
