Default Wing root fairing attachment.

I am fitting the attachment plate nuts for the F-799 wing root fairing. I have done the bottom side of the wing, no problem so far. Moving to the top of the wing the plan says to machine countersink for the 8-32 c/s screws where there is W-702 top skin, W-727 wing walk doubler and the inboard rib. My question is, has anyone dimpled this area instead if machine countersinking. If it is machined at least the W-702 wing skin will be knife edged and possibly the W-727 wing walk doubler as well. Is this ok??

Yes, that's ok. Follow the plans on that and you're good to go.
