I went to Utah St. for my freshman year '12-13. I was enrolled in their aviation program, which I would have to say is probably one of the best programs in the entire country. It's unfortunate they aren't entirely well known.

Beautiful scenery that surrounds the campus and certainly quite affordable for anyone. However, I did not have a very pleasant experience. Not to be an arse or anything but the mormon vibe was quite the culture shock and I just did not fit in well socially. Had it been more diverse I certainly would have stayed...I left after a year and went back to CA to go to school somewhere else.

LGU is a great airport. A 9000' runway is plenty of room for anyone with a heavy load. I'm sure you heard "aggie 5 , 6 7," etc buzzing around.
