RV-4 Split S
Last night, I found myself at 10500 with a good tailwind and cool air and decided against the standard en route descent. Split S to downwind altitude. Sure wish they allowed this in my USAF day job!

Whit, as I recall you have an unbalanced rudder with a trim servo in it, so you keep a real close eye on speed, ok?

Dan, thanks for the backup. Trim servo was removed last year per your recommendation and I'm currently in the process of building a rudder (with help) with .020 skins. I stayed below 165kts TAS here and avoid any spins or maneuvers requiring full rudder. See you at OSH brotha!

Eddie, it's just an iPhone on a ram mount so not very stable. I didn't feel any rudder wobble like is common in RV-4s in turbulence.
