Creativair 2" HID Lights?

When I built the Val, I installed the Creativair 2" landing lights (halogen 75 watt bulbs) in each wing tip. I was looking at their web site the other day, and saw that they now have a 2" HID retrofit kit, and was wondering if anyone has any experience with it yet? For less than 200 bucks, it might be a cheap Christmas present for the airplane....

(I've never really looked into any of the HID systems, so any comments on such things as antenna interference or good/bad experiences with lifetime would be useful!)

That's $200 per light. They're brand new. I'm not sure they're even shipping yet.
