Default Proud rivets no more! Avery again...

I had a real problem when I squeezed the rivets along the baffle line on my tanks. Couldn't get the rivets to sit flush. My pneumatic squeezer wasn't working very well, it didnt' operate smoothly and the ram tended to jump out instead of extending smoothly. And no matter how hard I held the squeezer against the shop head, I still had proud little rivets. But I couldn't see how the squeezer might cause the problem.

Sent the squeezer off to Avery, just because I wanted it to work smoothly. Bob fixed 3 or 4 things for just $30 & it works great! Like so many others, I think Bob Avery is a great guy to work with.

Just riveted a leading edge to a spar and all the rivets came out flush. Still don't know why the squeezer would cause proud rivets, but I don't really care at this point.
