Default UHMW

I'm in the process of removing the adheasive from the flap leading edge. Using heat and a soft scraper. Anyone know of a better way ?
Has anyone found a better material that the flap leading edage other than uhmw?

I used a strip of felt mounted to the underside of the wing skin. Obtained as the fuzzy side of Velcro tape

Thanks to all who answered my question. I order the products that were recommended. So now I have no excuse not to clean up the flaps.
