Oh well, It's on the bench at Stein as we speak....
IPad is going on the far right. Low profile, quick release to get to the breakers if/when needed.

You may have this covered already, but a couple quick observations.
1. Where are the heater controls? Are you putting them on the lower console side panels?
2. The front seat headphone jacks look to be partially on the lower console lip on the tunnel and part of the arm rest. With the fuel valve in the vicinity is there enough room there? If you indeed have the center arm rest, I would consider putting them inside the arm rest on the rear shelf. That's were I put both standard plugs and a set of lemo plugs.

Bob,
The drawing isn't accurate with regards to the jacks.
They are on the front, angled portion of the center armrest. With the passengers on the rear. I made custom panels for them. They look great. We've already got an iPod and the mt high O2D2s and a USB inside the armrest. So it's kind of occupied.
The heater controls are on the side of the lower front console. (Where I think most people put them). See my pics a couple posts ago in the 10 Progress thread.

Those are beautiful panels...but may I offer a bit of feedback?
Seems like the long-legged are often forgotten by designers. Builders put various objects right smack where our knees need to go:
Of course, a fellow doing a one-off can and should build exactly the airplane he wants, assuming he can stand a resale hit. However, it's really sad when the design is intended to be commercial, and the long-legged reject it out of hand:
....I'm just sayin'......

Dan this is not a problem in the RV-10 as it is in the other 2 place RV's.
We have guys over 6'6" flying with these panels. We do consider long legged people important.

I can attest to Geoff's comments. I just did ten hours of flight over this past weekend. Leg/knee room wasn't an issue for me at all. I will also say that at about the two hour mark in a plan's built RV-7, my legs start to cramp. So those of us with RV-10s have a bit more space than our two seat brethren.

I hear you. Just feedback, not a right or wrong thing. More knee room is always better than enough.

I've had a couple of 6ft+ guys in my plane and didn't complain about knee room.
Another concern might be the stick hitting the corner between the panel and the center console. My left stick grip touches a bit, but it's right at the end of its travel. I'm sure Geoff had worked that out on his design.

I would love to see DanH get into a Quickie 2 or any of the other skinny lancairs with 2 leg holes to fit through. Kind of like wearing skinny jeans. haha!
Also, i realize the amount of time spent staring at glass screens is proportional to the (number of screens) ^2. With so much glass, when will you have time to look out the window?!
