RV at KALM on 17 May

Was doing my first solo flight today in a DA-40, N304AF, and there was an aircraft landing on runway 3 while I was waiting for my motor to warm up(around 0830 local) that announced as Experimental Nxxxxx. Looked quite a bit like an RV, was wondering if it was someone from here. Beautiful looking plane and that landing made me jealous; you should have seen mine a couple hours later.
