Default Countersinking

I countersunk a couple of places a few thousands too deeply. I realize this is just cosmetic and as long as I don't tighten down on the countersunk screw / skin above it, there shouldn't be a problem

However, I was wondering if anyone in the group has any tricks or tips to use to correct? JB weld? A few coats of heavy paint? Aluminum foil?

Thanks

Beyond going up in rivet or screw size and subsequently larger head, I don't think there is a "fix."

Depending on the thickness of the metal in question and assuming the counter sink is not deeper than the metal, which would enlarge the hole, it may be fine as is if it is not a structural piece.

A call to Van's is probably your safest bet, however.

A "couple of places" usually isn't going to hurt a thing. A limited number of messed up holes and rivets are allowed. Check your build manual.
