Default When to remove proseal from skins

I am in the midst of sealing the tanks.

As most people know, it is as bad as everyone says and also manageable all at the same time.

Did one tank with the set up overnight method which certainly was less messy but may do the other with wet riveting.

My question is: How much should I clean up the outside skins before the sealer is fully cured? Some postings say that if you scrub with solvent on the outer skins that can cause issues later on, and others builder logs I see beautiful clean skins everywhere.

Am I just a slob? Should I just let the painter take care of things later?

Next question is: With the excess proseal inside the tank, do people run into trouble later down the road with pieces breaking off and causing fuel system clogs?

Thanks.
