Default Follow-up on my twisted fuel hose

Just thought I would post a follow-up on the twisted fuel hose thread I posted a week or so ago. I had damaged the hose during installation by putting a twist in the hose. Tom at TS Flightlines replaced the hose and I send the old one back to him to try and destroy to see where it would fail. He confirmed the twist and damage to the hose. He then pressure tested the damaged hose up to 9000 psi, that is 3 times its rated 3000 psi pressure and it would not fail. I have to say that Teflon hose he sells is one tough hose. I feel good about my hoses not failing at the low fuel pressures we run after seeing that test, even if it has a little abuse. Good info to know.
