Default Flightline Interiors carpet Question

So I have the full Flightline Interiors interior. The instructions call for you to glue the front and rear floorboard carpet pieces to the floor. I'm not thrilled with that solution. Has anyone used velcro instead? Velcro is used for most of the interior carpet, just not the floorboards.

My FlightLine carpet is 5-6 years old now, and came with Velcro strips. I used the aft edge strip on the front floorboards, but never bothered to remove the protective film on the other edges. The carpet fits snuggly enough that it is not going anywhere. It has held up to clumsy passengers, dogs, bikes and baggage. No way would I glue them in.

2 inch wide industrial strength velco has worked for me to hold them firmly in place.
