Default Kit Packing List - Delete item or not?

Dolly and I stayed the week at Sun-N-Fun. Spent more than I had planned. Some parts upgrade for our RV-7, specifically Beringer wheels and brakes (trying to build light). In future I may buy Andair fuel valve.

Question: Is it wise to have Van's delete those items from the packing list before they ship, or better to let it ride and return items for credit later? What did you do?

Go ahead and delete the stuff if you're sure you don't want it. Why make them pack it up in the first place and then you pay return shipping?

It's not the end of the world either way, but if you have new replacement parts then I'd delete to save on the return shipping cost if nothing else.

I bought the Berringer kit and had those parts deleted. Some prefer to sell the extra stuff. Vans does not credit retail so you could break even by selling if you want to mess with it.
Vans sells the Andair valve. You can substitute it.
If you haven't ordered the wing kit, add a fuse longeron. Cheap to include in the wing crate.
