Default Not great

E10 is not a good thing - not all parts of all fuel systems will like it. Which parts? Use it and find out

Sadly, "ethanol fever" is still spreading, and we're likely to be stuck with E10 for now. I use it when I can get it in the CT, mostly because the Rotax likes MoGas and it winds up mixing with the 100LL in the tank, diluting the ethanol. Not sure I'd run on E10 only.

Many folks in the boating community have discovered that boats are not ready for E10 the hard way. Since a LOT more people own boats than airplanes, there is some potential that the gasoline terminals and suppliers will have sources of ethanol-free gas. Now we just need a way to get this into our airplanes.

Most of the STC's for mogas do not allow E10.
