KHSE Billy Mitchell PIREP needed

I'm planning a 3 day,2 night trip to Hatteras the 3rd week in May to visit friends on the island, and looking at KHSE to park my RV-4. I am looking for comments on airport security , and suggestions for parking there. I have the normal canopy covers, ect. and know there is no fuel there. Some concern about blowing sand and salt spray, but I don't know what others have experienced.
Any PIREPS would be helpful.
