Kitlog multiple projects in Internet?
Hello all,
I've been using Kitlog to document my RV-7A project and have been posting the log to the internet.
Now I have a new project to rebuild a RV-6A. I would like both projects posted to the internet.
And, I may want to keep on posting to both projects.
I see I can have multiple projects in KitLog.
But, if I hit the ?Post To Internet? button after editing my new RV-6A project on KitLog, what happens?
Does my original RV-7A project get replaced with the new RV-6A project?
Seems my KitLog account provides only one link to a project.
Do I have to maybe buy another KitLog account to have both posted?
If so, do I have to edit the new project on a different computer then the old project?
Thanks for any input.
Ed

You can do it. When my Kitlog file got corrupted, for a while I had two projects listed, that were actually were just the same one with two logs. Drop them an email for instructions on just how to do it.

Ed,
Both projects will be posted on it KitLog. In addition to my RV-7 log, I started one to show progress on the rebuild of my C-170B. IIRC, both projects are in the same database, so you pretty much have to use the same computer for both.

Multiple kitlog projects
Thanks Don, I posted the same question to support@kitlog.com. I'll report the answer to this thread when I here back from them.
Don, a hint on how multiple kitlog projects can be stored on the internet is in your kitlog link shown in your signature.
http://www.mykitlog.com/users/index....X&project=1903
I see a project number at the end of the link. You can also get to your kitlog project with the following link.
http://www.mykitlog.com/DonFromTX
Is it possible the project number at the end of your link is the registration number you enter in kitlog for each unique project? Maybe, but I'm not going to try it until I here from kitlog support. I just don't want to mess up my current project.
Hey, what have repeat offenders used to document multiple projects on the internet?
Ed

You can check out my kitlog. Both RV projects are there, under their own section because both are individual projects in my database (yes, I think the key is either serial number or registration). Only thing I wish was different is that the RV-6A shows up by default from my site because it was the first one; I'd like to be able to switch that but haven't found a way.

Yep, this is an excellent example of how it works.

Multiple Projects with KitLog Pro
Thanks Patrick and Don.
Patrick, yes, your kit log is a good example of how a multiple project works with KitLog Pro.
Now mine works the same. http://www.mykitlog.com/thelynns
Two projects, very nice. You set up multiple projects on your PC running KitLog Pro. But if you want separate avatars or separate project headings you need to log into http://www.mykitlog.com and go to project preferences.
