Default Props to Tropic Airpower

After 545.6 hours of service, I decided to have the 500 hour IRAN service performed on my Slick mags. I decided on Tropic Airpower located at Indiantown airport in Florida. I delivered the mags to Tropic owner Mark Young on Tuesday. They were ready for pickup the next afternoon.
The mags were completely disassembled, cleaned, and inspected. No abnormal wear was noted. Parts replaced included the oil seal, point set, carbon brush, point cam, bearing, and woodruff key. A bench test and paint job completed the rebuild. New mounting gaskets and fasteners were also included. An FAA form 8130-3 for each mag rounded out the package. Mark was very professional and took the time to help me remember how to properly install magnetos. My -9A has been flying 7 years.
I installed the mags last Saturday but because the POTUS was in the vicinity, could only do an ground ops check. I flew to Venice FL today and it was ops check normal.
