Default F-601Z Aux fuel firewall doubler

I'm working on my firewall and about to fab the F-601Z fuel pump doubler. I've seen some posts that suggest it should be installed slightly off what the plans suggest. Apparently the stock orientation results in too sharp of a 90 needed in the fuel line?

Has anyone experienced this, and if so, wwhat if anything would you suggest I do different than the plans?

And yes, I know I don't need the F-601Z if I'm going to use a fuel injected engine. My problem is that at this point I don't know what engine I'll be using so I want to keep my options open. It seems easy enough to blank off the two penetrations if I end up not needing it.

thanks
Ivan
