Talking Which Governor Stud do you Need?

As a follow up to a previous thread:

Hartzell has modified the base of some of their governors for use with the longer studs. If you purchase a new governor from Van's with a prefix of "S", you will need long governor studs.

If you have an older Hartzell governor with a prefix of "V", "U" or "E", you will also need long studs.

If you have a PCU-5000 or MT governor - long studs.

Other Hartzell, Woodward, McCauley governors require the short studs.

Tell your engine builder, so they can change them for you!
