Default QB fuselage weight

I'm bringing home my QB fuselage from where I've storing it and was wondering about how much it weighs, with out the crate, so I know how much help I'll need.

Three people is probably ideal. Two medium sized people can lift the fuselage, but may have some trouble maneuvering it. It is more bulky than heavy.

Default QB Fuselage weight

I had my 8A fuselage delivered by Partain Transport in late September. It was too ungainly for the two of us so I had my 14 year old daughter steer the tail. The driver and I carried the majority of the weight by the wood fake spar stubs. The tail can't weigh more than 15 lbs. when carried like this. The spar weight wasn't that much at all. The parts box that comes with the QB fuselage was almost as much as my share of the fuselage weight!

I concur with Kyle that it is bulky however not especially heavy. My wife and I move our QB fuselage regularly with out problems. She manages the tail and I the nose. We are both in our sixties. Can't be too hard.
