Got mine set up too!

As reported the hardest part was figuring out how to setup a wifi password and turn the wifi on!

You're seriously driving the airplane with the iPad, this is beyond even the craziest stuff we were dreaming up when I was in college 15 years ago. Back then, highway in the sky was Star Wars style idea stuff.

And I did it with a $35 dollar wifi dongle, and a foreflight subscription I already had!

Default WiFi adaptor password reset?

Hi,

After using the Skyview wifi adaptor to link with my iPad, already for few months, I tried to do the same with a new device.

I can't manage, as in my rush to get the iPad to work, I set a password and went flying, so... ....I can't remember anymore which password was set initially to link SV and iPad!

Is there any way to reset it?
Does SV use a default pwd?
Any way to retrieve the previous one?

Thks in advance...

Go into WiFi setup in the SKyView setup screen. The password will be in there, but will be all ******. Select the password and it will appear.

There is not a default password.

Default Pwd recovered, thanks!

Thanks, of course it works now...

I was looking for the info in the operators manual, but later I found out it was in the Installation one.

When is Dynon going to output ADS-B weather and traffic to Foreflight? Please say that is in the works.

When you can easily program a Raspberry Pi to output the info to an iPad, you know Dynon can easily do it, but I have a feeling that they have some sort of contractual obligation in re: Stratus. It makes way too much sense to do this, but that would undermine the Stratus connection.
