Default Flap motor odor

I noticed a odor of grease when my flaps are being raised or lowered , is this the tell tale sign of grease in the armature ? 6 hours and this is the only squawk .

Default Motor odor

Took it apart , armature is spotless . The grease they use on the
gears and threaded rod just smells bad.
