Default trim cable

After 600 hours of flight I noticed the trim getting difficult to work. Upon checking out the connection where the trim cable attached to the trim tab, I found a bent cable. I did my best to straighten the cable and put it all back together, but am wondering if there is any type of ferrule to reinforce the cable where the bend occurred. Thanks
