Battery location
After have my Ff pretty much done I found my batt to closse to my slick magneto, there is about one inch between them! Is it a problem?

An inch should be adequate clearance. Just make sure the cables are well clear of the mag.

Don't forget about maintenace, you will have to pull that mag at some point and the engine does move around a fair bit.

I put a bolted box so removing 4 bolts the box will came out
