Question Paint Shop in the US Northeast

Hello Listers

After seeing that gorgeous RV-8 ( http://www.vansairforce.com/communit...d.php?p=952132) (Post 651 ) I'm starting to think about repainting my RV-4 and would like to know which Paint Shop you guys will recommend within 3 hrs flying time from let's say KBTV.

If you have any idea on how much a paint job like that will cost, so much the better.

Thank you for your imputs.

10G to strip and re-paint. Those are the #s I got when calling around. There is a place in PA and another in DE.

Ed's aircraft in Shirly, New York at Brookhaven airport does a magnificent job!

Second for Prestige paint in FSO, had my RV6 painted there last year and very happy. They did some extra maint work at no charge, price was lower also.

Perhaps not a fair vote, as I have yet to have an RV painted however our Cherokee was painted at Prestige and it is beautiful. Very close to KBTV.
