Default carb heat muff and connector

Is there a better system than the Vans OEM carb heat muff?
I need to replace the scat tubing and the tube I bought is too stiff and presses down significantly on the airbox.
Im just wondering what other people are doing;

1. some kind of updated system that doesnt utilize scat tube
2. scat tube thats more flexible and pliable??

anwyay.. thanks in advance!

vans rv9A, o-320.

EDIT:
ok searching the site I found some threads and good options.
robbins and wicks muffs.
so ignore..

The muff at www.robbinswings.com is a horizontal design and captures more heat from the crossover exhaust. It will also let you use a longer piece of scat tubing which should eliminate the problem youre having.

Default +1 for the Robbins muff...

I purchased one from Vetterman's with my new exhaust and it fit very nicely. I installed it on the front crossover tube.

I use the Van's one for my cabin heat.
