Default Crackeling

Ki got a io360 in my 7a I've sealed all exhaust flanges with exhaust sealer but still get cracklings when reducing rpm. And sometimes at idle any ideas?? Never done it when new only done 140 hrs

That is indicative, usually, of leaking intake tube to cylinder gaskets (where the tubes bolt to the 'heads') sometimes a fuel stain is evidenced in that area.
