Default Trio Autopilot PLED vs. LCD

Just wondering if any of you guys with the new Trio PLED display are having the daytime visibility issues that were associated with the old VFD displays. Getting ready to order mine very soon. I very much prefer the look of the PLED.

Jamie,

Trio guys assured me at OSHKOSH that if I did not totally love the Pled screen that they would replace it with the LCD NO CHARGE. They are very convinced it is much better....also I will be in COLD temps a few months during the year. The LCD operating range does not like the cold.

FWIW

I have flown with the VFD, LCD, and PLED Trio displays in my RV-6. The VFD was problematic in bright sun, but both the LCD and PLED are very legible in bright light.
