Default 180HP crank in 200HP A1A

Lycon in California uses the 180HP crank all the time to save weight and cost in 200HP +++ engines. They even buzz some of their engines over 3,000 rpm. Talk to Lycon in California if your curious. I'd use the heavier crank snout and not the thin wall one. Aerosport also uses this combo and I haven't heard of any problems. One nice thing about this crank is cost, weight, connecting rods are cheaper/lighter and the rod bolts are by far cheaper than the counterweighted crank rod bolts. I used to run one of these 180HP cranks in my -6 but later changed it to the counterweighted because of the 10:5:1 comp pistons I installed later. Hope this helps. I can't help with the prop issue.
