Nice trip report. I see October weather in the Willamette valley hasn't changed much since I left

The whole lower Columbia around Scappoose is a much more scenic area now that they demolshed the 499 ft cooling tower at the Trojan Nuclear plant.

(Why 499 feet? So it doesn't have to be painted white and red.)

Great report. Hope all is well. I still look back on the Tarantula Trek as one of our greatest trips.

Thumbs up Great example!

Good trip report! Besides the pics, it's awesome to see pilots who give great examples of decision making and showing good discipline/CRM and not giving in to "get-homeitis"!
