Default Anyone with experience using "old" polysulfide?

I have a partial can of polysulfide that, according to the label, expired in June of 2013. I would like to use it to re-seal an access panel on my fuel tank. Does anyone have any experience, good or bad, with using out-of-date polysulfide? I plan to make a test batch to confirm that it, at least, appears to cure, but would like to hear about any real experiences.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Dean

I keep it in the fridge (warmed to room temp before use cause it's too thick to mix) with good results sealing the windows and firewall. The left overs were left to cure in a blob and all cured as per normal. It was at least 6 years old. YMMV

Default No worries

Dean I do not know what others have experienced, but I have used expired sealant to good effect. It appears to take longer to cure, but cure it did. My batch was B-2 and had no special care, it just sat on a shelf for several years. These days I throw "proseal" into the refrigerator, it keeps nicely.
