Back rivet set pin

The pin that holds the collar on my 12" offset back rivet set keeps backing out. I've tried using a different pin, and I've tried using some LocTite (red), but I still have to tap the pin back in after every rivet.

Any other ideas? It's not really slowing down work, but it sure is frustrating.

I believe it's a roll pin. If so you can try opening up the seam a little to make a tighter fit.

I tried that early on, and couldn't get anything wedged in the gap. Tried using a nail in the end and almost didn't get it back out.
