Default RV-8/8A H-Stab width...

Hello all,

I need to know the width of the -8/8A H-stab with the tips on. (This is for the shipping company.) I "searched" here and at Van's but couldn't come up with any actual numbers.

Thanks!

P.S. This forum/website is great therapy. Trying to explain "why I want to build an airplane" gets frustrating at times.

You should tell them whatever is to your advantage, but I know it is a little more than 8' if it makes a difference, cause it wouldn't fit through my 8' garage door.....
