Default Ride to Abilene from DFW area this Saturday?
Anyone in the DFW area headed toward Abilene early Saturday? Need a ride to pick up my 8. I arrive in DFW around 11:30 Friday night.

Hey Robby,

I saw that you were picking-up an RV8 in Abilene...
I live in Abilene but don't know of an 8 in town. Is someone meeting you here form another location?

Robby is picking up HIS RV-8. Several of the guys got weathered in at ABI Sunday coming home from LOE.

Yep, Mel...after I posted, I got to noticing all the planes he has built/working on below his signature.
Heck, I may go out to the airport and see if I can scavenge some parts for my plane!.... ....just kidding...

Default Abilene On Saturday
Robby,

At the moment I have no plans for early Saturday morning. My wife is in Austin and she gets back today.

I'll check with her so keep me in mind.

We live at Hicks Airfield (T67) real close to Jay Pratt's RV Central hangar.

The only thing on our agenda, that I know of, is going over to McKinney for the Chili Cook Off around 11 or 12. Mel's EAA chapter is the host.

Let me know if you don't get any other offer. I'm always looking for a reason to fly!
