Default Aerodynmic RV-6/7/9 external canopy latch ?

Some weeks ago I saw a company selling a replacement external slider canopy latch which is much more aerodynamic (and better looking) than Van's original. I've hunted high and low and can't find the website again - any one got any ideas ?

Default The one in the picture has an operational problem

WOW $30! can't you grind/file your own Van's supplied handle? If you do not modify your new handle you or someone will eventually slide you canopy forward and damage your windshield bow fairing with the handle that has the tail end pointing forward. To prevent this remove material from the bottom of the tail end of the handle until it completely clears the bow fairing when the handle is pointing forward.

Default Modified stock VAN's handle / latch

This was a stock VAN's handle/latch that I machined and streamlined on my -6 and like Bob mentioned the stock latch will damage your plane if it isn't facing rearward when you close the canopy. The profile I did to mine prevents this from happening. Just wanted to pass on a couple of pictures if your curious. Good luck.
