Talking RV-5

I noticed in the third edition of this years RVator Van mentioned that one of his employee's is restoring the only RV-5.

Up until this point I had never heard of the -5 (I have always wondered why the number's weren't consecutive... ).

I am wondering for interests sake if anyone knows what the RV-5 looks likes (pictures???) and if they know what the design intention was and why it never went into production.
