Default

The airplane is clean, fueled, and about half packed for the trip.

But it is looking like a wet weekend in the SE.

Decisions, decisions...

Default FUEL!

Don't forget, fuel will be available on an "emergency" basis.

See this thread for details

Default Low ceilings

Low ceilings are delaying our departure this AM.

Default We made it

Flew IFR over to greenwood, shot the gps approach to runway 9 and waited on the ground for 45 minutes for the ceiling to lift. Ceiling was 500 when we landed at GRD and 1200 when we took off. Quick 10 minute flight. Ceilings are much better now and the traffic has picked up.

Question FAA's iPad seminar at Triple Tree, Saturday, Sept 6

The FAA is having an iPad seminar at triple Tree Saturday morning at 10:00 AM.

It's a big place,----I guess there'll be room for all?? Odd that both events are scheduled at the same time.

Or maybe that's the whole idea.
