Default Cool #1 EGT

I have a new injected 360 and the #1 cylinder appears to be running quite a bit cooler than the others. CHT is cool, but the EGT is close to the temps for the other cylinders.

I've swapped the #1 and #3 sensors and #1 still shows cool.

I have the stock Van's baffle kit installed with the air dam in front of the cylinder. It is the stock height.

The motor has all of 2 hours flight time on it plus whatever was put on it by Mattituck when they built it.

Is this a concern? How do I correct it?

The motor is running fine and making good power.

Thanks in advance for your input.

Jesse

They will never be all the same but move the injector inserts around to try and find the best balance. IE: swap hottest & coldest. Sometimes you have to use a different size insert if one is really far off. Important to make sure they are all clean.

Number one will always be your coolest do to the fact that the prop pushes the air into the inlet more therefore cooling that cylinder. Your number 2 is on the up lift of the prop which causes less air into that side of the engine.
