Default RV-8 Builder at KALM?

Hey everyone,
Lol, well, my daughter's mom PCS'd to Holloman and I randomly find myself living in Alamogordo, NM and flying out of PHX. Didn't think there'd be any local RVs, but I was flying out of KALM yesterday and saw an RV-8 in the pattern and Bob, the owner of Ed's at KALM was saying the owner just finished the plane. I've been looking to hook up with some RV fliers in the area. I don't suppose any are on this forum, or happen to know the guys at KALM?

Thanks,

Not sure who owns the RV-8. I started ground school for my PPL out there on the 11th and haven't seen much aside from Tornadoes flying around so far.

Ha, yeah, the Tornadoes fly all the time. The new F-16 squadron just arrived and I saw them land. Since then I think I've seen one in the air once.

Good luck on your PPL.
