Default Whirlwind 74RV. need pirep

I'm at Oshkosh and planning to purchase my this week. I had planned to order the Whirlwind RV200, now considering the 74RV instead. I have the IO360 angle valve 200hp engine. Is anybody flying the 74RV if so, what are your thoughts?

Search my other posts and you will find some info on our experience with the prop. So far we love it! Aircraft is at KOSH now and should be there unti Friday. Sadly I am not with it! Look for a very Purple RV6 if you want to check the prop out.

Default 74 RV prop

I have an IO-390 in my 8 switched from a 200RV to the 74RV. It looks cool but the performance is not there. It does however slow way better in the pattern. Top end is a little slower than the 200 RV.
